Laura J. Dallalio-Crotty, MS, LPCC
Laura J. Dallalio-Crotty, MS, LPCC graduated
with honors from Kentucky State University with a Bachelor of Science in
Psychology. She subsequently
received a Masters of Science from the University of Kentucky in Counseling
Psychology. Laura pursued additional specialized
training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy through
a four day workshop taught by Dr.
Martha Wetter in Lexington, Kentucky and a
dedicated 6 month practicum in a skills training group. She has also completed
several additional trainings with
Behavioral Tech (Dr. Marsha Linehan's company).
She started a DBT group at the Family Care Center in Louisville in
2004. The Center offered Standard
DBT, including one hour of individual weekly and a two and one-half hour group
weekly in addition to telephone coaching and consultation to the client. During that time she attended a
consultation group in Dr. Wetter’s office in Lexington. In 2006, she went into private practice and
continues to offer Standard DBT.
Laura J. Dallalio-Crotty is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and
belongs to the Kentucky Counseling Association, the Kentucky Mental Health
Counseling Association and the Kentucky Psychological Association. She has conducted CE trainings
at KMHCA conferences as well as the KPA
conference. She has also presented
at Wellstone Regional Hospital.
She currently resides in Owenton, Kentucky with her
husband, Jerrold. She enjoys reading, art, theatre, and travel.
